A glass ionomer cement (GIC) is a dental restorative material used in dentistry as a filling material and luting cement, including for orthodontic bracket attachment. Used as cavity filling cement. Silver reinforced glass ionomer improves upon the already strong aesthetic material and adds a silver tin alloy to better both strength and wear properties.
